Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge. Large balcony over the sea with a wonderful view of the sea and Scilla. The main beach is wonderful for swimming in the clear turquoise water. It is a small relaxed town.

Close proximity to Train Station, walking distance to the Beach, Local Cafes and Restaurants along the waterfront and across from the main beach.
Walking distance to the Old town Centre either take a lift up or walk up the stairs for some paronamic views you won't be disappointed.
It is only a small coastal town with a few restaurants and Cafes to choose from

The view was spectacular.
The view was spectacular.
There was direct access to the rocks at the waterfront but no way to get in or out of the water safely. The property is advertised as The entire holiday home’ but this is false. The property has at least three apartments. We had to walk past our neighbour’s glass patio doors to access our apartment and the narrow balcony was shared.

I loved Scilla as the pace was so relaxed and a chilled vibe… I really liked where I stayed to watch the sunsets and the locals chatting in the square
Chianalea which is in walking distance is a must visit for beautiful streets and alleyways and gorgeous restaurants…
In my personal opinion no need for a car as youcan walk everywhere and there’s a train station with very regular services

The town is one of the biggest discoveries I had in years - it is probably top3 the most incredible places in Italy (at least those I have seen). It's a perfect place for a romantic trip, it offers great restaurants and great accommodation for decent prices. The views are just fantastic - it exceeded my expectations!

Super quaint town with an amazing beach and lovely beachfront bars and restaurants. It is completely unspoiled and feels like going back in time. I’m bilingual English Italian but my friend who does not speak Italian said he would’ve struggled to be there on his own as there isn’t much foreign tourism. That said, I saw that as a plus as it feels more authentic. The village atop the hill was also really charming, but it is a steep walk up so if you need anything like a pharmacy or cashpoint, I won’t find it on the beachfront!
We were very pleased to choose this place for our stay in Scilla. Catarina welcomed us very warmly and was available for any questions throughout our stay. The house is very clean, well-kept and creates that wonderful atmosphere that you look for when traveling. A small balcony facing Chianalea with a view of the mountains will be a pleasant memory. The location of the house itself was also great, between the beach, the fishing district and the Bellavista bar with a beautiful view! Hoping to come back one day... Thank you!
We stayed in an amazing unusual place with a balcony right over the sea. Our host was such a caring person delivered us every thing we needed. The bed is warm and comfortable. The bathroom is provided with everything you need. The breakfast was way more than enough with hot milk, coffee tea and fruits. She even packed us a bag of food to go. I definitely recommend this place if you are coming to Scilla! Location is perfect, and she showed us where to park not too far. Thank you so much for everything 🙏
Amazing location. 2 minutes from the train station and 2 minutes from the beach. 😊Comfortable, spotlessly clean en-suite room, property throughout was meticulously clean and very welcoming. The host, Paolo texted me to enquire as to the time of my arrival and I was able to check-in immediately after arriving in Scilla. I particularly liked that it was a personal check-in and not a self-check-in system. The breakfast was a lovely mix of Italian and Continental including fresh fruit and yoghurts.
Mimmo was a wonderful host - really helpful and arranged transport to and from the train station which was really great. The room was fabulous, super clean with great facilities and a terrace with the best view! Breakfast was fab too - we took coffee, croissants and juice at the cafe bar Casa Vela just a few steps down the road and the quality of the products was top and the staff were lovely. We will definitely book to stay again on our next visit to Scilla, we loved it!!
The room is cozy, tidy and clean and the view is really beautiful. Antonio is an amazing host who knows perfectly how to take care of his guests and make them feel welcome every single day of their stay. The place is located close to a couple stairs that take you directly to the beach in a couple minutes and you can reach the fishermen village of Chianalea, Scilla's castle and many great restaurants in really short time.
This part of Scilla is characterful and totally tranquil. While the sound of the lapping water and movement of the local fishermen below the apartment and our little balcony made it totally perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Despite a language barrier, Pia looked after us very well and was always around for help or questions. So glad she organised the boat trip for us.
The hotel and our room as great!!! It was super clean, I didn't even use the slippers and felt like I was walking in my home floor. The room was so cozy and comfortable, and is in a great location with great view and excellent restaurants on the same street. Breakfast was better than I was expecting and the staff was so nice!
Loved it!!!
The location of the hotel is in the center of Scilla, on the main street of the old town. A lot of restaurants and the beaches in
5 min per foot reachability. The balcony of the room was directly going into the see, which is impressive experience. The room is big. The breakfast was very good and the personnel is extremely cheerful.
The hotel is older but not too shabby. Fairly quiet for being next to a busy road. Clean. Airco that works pretty well. We stayed on the 3rd floor which is not served by the lift/elevator - fine for us but I would not recommend if you have a lot of luggage or you have difficulty with stairs. Location is very close to the beach.
The location of the hotel is just fantastic. Rooms facing the sea are probably the most beautiful ones I have ever stayed in. The staff is nice and helpful. Everything is kept in order - very professional. The restaurant is fantastic - I would even say that the best in Scilla.
The hotel's location is a 1 minute walk from the beach. A large cliff at on end of the beach with castle atop it adds to the mood. This is a spectacular stretch of coastline. Our room was large and comfortable and because it was off season parking was readiky available.
Great little hotel, easy to get to and park at the upper level of Scilla. Thankfully there is an elevator that will bring you back up (12 floors!) from the water level. Amazing breakfast made by staff. All staff helpful and friendly. Good bed and shower.
Beautiful little BnB just by the water, in the best part of Scilla. We could just stay at the balcony all day. Best breakfasts we had in Italy ever, hand-made by the owner. Antonio and his beautiful mother are so welcoming and make this place so special.
The hosts were wonderful and kind people. We had a gorgeous view and got to experience the heart of Chianalea, the beautiful fishing district of Scilla. The B&B had two terraces and a kitchen. We loved every second of our stay.
it’s our second time at La Finlanda and we would gladly come back again. Paolo is an incredible host who helped us in everything we needed.
The room service is like a five star hotel.
Couldn’t recommend it more!!
Even though the building is in a densely built-up area, the windows face towards the hills, and it is quiet all the time.
Thanks to Andrea's father we arrived at the house from Scilla train station with his car.
it’s connected to a hotel opposite the beach so very convenient when arriving by train. The staff were accommodating and not overbearing. unexpected sea view which was beautiful. lovely weekend in Scilla.
Delightful family-run hotel. Lovely spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Very good breakfast offering plenty of choice. Scilla is a gorgeous place.
